“RSPS is proud to be a part of Construction for the Four Seasons in New Orleans to start May 1”
The developers planning a $450 million renovation of the former World Trade Center building are close to starting construction. Demolition work at what will become the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is expected to begin next week.
The Four Seasons Hotel, designed by the Boston-based architecture firm CambridgeSeven, will have 395 hotel rooms on the lower floors. Its residential element includes 80 hotel-serviced condos on the upper floors. An observation deck will be open to the public, and the site will include cultural attraction for tourists, a restaurant and an outdoor dining courtyard.
The original timeline for the project called for construction to take two years, with the hotel opening in fall 2019.
